Our Story
Hello 🙂 My name is Chris and I’m proud to admit that Magic: the Gathering has been my daily default headspace for almost 30 years now! Time flies when you’re having fun!
For over a quarter of a century this card game has captured the imaginations and hearts of countless players across the globe. And so it has been with me too – I started playing back in 4th Edition (1995) and have gotten swept up in an epic story of planeswalkers, elder dragons, rival guilds, long-lost worlds, awakening titans, vengeful gods, and everything else in between!
I’ve been playing and collecting ever since those early days and its been an awesome journey so far. And seeing that most of my family and friends all play too, the dream of one day being able to run my own online store, has never wavered.
This online store, The Hidden Realm, was inspired by a deep love of this game, not just the playing aspect but also the magic contained in each individual card! Every card has the potential to be special in *your* deck. And while we stock cards useful in all formats, for years our focus has been on collecting cards that shine especially in the Commander format.
The hope is that on our website you will find the hidden gems you’ve been looking for but couldn’t find. The goal is to support the gaming community by providing excellent quality cards at fair prices to players both old and new.
We are a small (registered and legitimate) online business run from home, for the love of this game and for a desire to spread the Magic to those brave enough to wield it!
